So, Hanson posted their tour dates, then took them down and will repost them tomorrow. These are the dates that they posted:

April 9 LaCrosse, WI South Hall
    April 11 Milwaukee, WI Rave
    April 12 Madison, WI Barrymore
April 13 Green Bay, WI Meyer Theater
    April 15 Indianapolis, IN Egyptian
April 17 Covington, KY Madison Theater
April 18 Bloomington, IL US Cellular Coliseum
April 19 Royal Oak, MI Royal Oak Music Hall
April 22 Albany, NY Northern Lights 16+
April 23 Burlington, VT Higher Ground
April 25 Northampton, MA Calvin Theatre
April 26 Hampton Beach, NH Casino Ballroom 18+
April 29 Sayreville, NJ Starland Ballroom
May 1 Falls Church , VA State Theatre 18+
May 2 Allentown, PA Crocodile Rock
May 3 Lancaster, PA Chameleon Club
May 5 Asheville, NC Orange Peel
May 6 Myrtle Beach, SC House of Blues
May 7 Durham, NC Carolina Theatre

Now, keep in mind that, while they probably won't change, they could. No idea as to why they posted them and then took them down. Pretty typical.

    But yeah :) I thought I'd share!

No way. Bloomington? I've never been to the Coliseum cause it's for huge shows but I will for the Sixers...

The dates won't change. They were posted earlier than expected. They'll be back up shortly, but those are the real dates. :D

Apparently my home state won some type of tour lottery I was not aware of. FOUR shows in Wisconsin? La Crosse was the first place I saw the Sixers, 4 years ago, 3 mintues away from my apartment. Awwww.

I realize they probably won't change, but I thought I'd throw the disclaimer up there.

And Jen, I totally know what you mean! 4 Wisconsin dates! And one of them isn't to far from my place in Madison. I'll be going to all four, of course :D

this leg is supposed to run through May 15 as well, so more dates will be added, and all I can say is that they BETTER BE in the PNW & West Coast because SK promised me!

Well, SK made good on his promise of a Madison date and a Green Bay date, so hopefully he'll be right about the PNW dates :)

Hampton Beach is the classiest venue EVER.

Cocktail waitress: "Would you like something to drink?"
Me: "I'll have a Tanqueray and tonic."
Cocktail waitress: "I don't think we have that."
Me: "Just a gin martini then."
Cocktail waitress: "We don't really make drinks. We have Bud Light and Coors Light!"

This further complicates my decision as to whether or not to go to these shows.

YAY Falls Church. I love the State Theater, but it's not as big of a venue as I expected them to play with Hanson.

I'm pretty bummed they're not doing Boston... just because I was looking forward to singing along to "4th of July". Haha. Either way, I'm hoping to go to Northampton!

Hooray for State Theater! That's a great venue. Wish it wasn't a Thursday, but I'll just have to make it work. I can't miss the Sixers.

I have some West Coast friends who are gonna be none too happy if they don't add some west coast dates. I'm sure they will come up though. No way they are leaving CA out completely.

I think on the first leg of the tour they were around 30 bucks (before all the charges of course)? I can't quite remember. Way more than a Sixers show, obviously, but still not too bad of a price.

I'll be at all 4 Wisconsin shows. Still considering Bloomington.

The info is also up on the Sixer tour page...WhooHoo!

I'm excited to see some Indy love on this round of dates! So far, I'm thinking of attending Bloomington and Indy. Although the Northampton and Hampton Beach dates are my birthday weekend, so I might con someone into going with me out there. :-)

Those shows are the weekend before my birthday and tried to convince a friend to head out there with me but I just got "the look" and one of these  , so I just dropped the subject :P

Supporting Hanson... I thought they disappeared when I was in 4th grade. wow. Is this for serious... it's gotta be some cruel joke. What are the 6ers thinking? They need their OWN tour. I'll still be going to Northampton for sure but geeez... I'm in total disbelief...

Hey Mal...Hanson isn't the 1997 band you're probably thinking of. They created their own Record Label and released two Indie albums (both of which are incredible). Plus they've been doing a lot of humanitarian work the last year or so helping out with Africa and the AIDS problem. The new music speaks for itself...give it a try :) I think you'll be plesantly surprised

mmm, I don't think so. But It's not even the fact that I don't like Hanson whatsoever, it's that the 6ers should be headlining their own tour. They're too great to be opening for mediocre bands anymore.

eh. Not thrilled with the dates. NoHo is the closest but I'm not used to having to go further than an hour to see the sixers ( I know, I know. I'm spoiled).
And I try to stay far far away from Hampton beach but i guess it IS amusing.

I was really hoping for a providence date. RI never gets any love.

Just FYI, the whole "to Hanson, or not to Hanson" discussion is located here. Often, sharing a tour is an economical solution for smaller acts.

I agree with Elise on the no RI love. I've enjoyed Providence, even when my flight gets delayed. :)

I'm excited for the WI dates. We'll see with ticket prices, but hopefully I can make 3 of the 4 shows if I skip a day of class. Soooo excited!
