In case you didn't know, Todd Martin has a new album coming out August 28th. Both Boots and Kit recorded it with him. I've heard a bunch of the new stuff live and it's fantastic!

Oh, I have the biggest crush on Todd Daryl Martin. He's getting married soon, isn't he? I'd try to crash the wedding and confess my undying love for him, but I probably wouldn't find a ride.

Definatly pumped for the new stuff...but someone tell me the deal with him and The Ends. What is he doing now? One day he's solo...the next he's with The Ends...then he's off doing a different gig. I haven't seen todd martin play live in like a year and it would be great if he came around soon. ...... yea.!

just wait til you hear the new stuff....each one keeps getting better than the last. He's got some sort of pre-order deal going on too....cheaper if you buy early i guess...so those of you looking to get your hands on a copy right away, seems like a good little system.

Hey PJ, Todd's coming around Sept 8! You wanna go? It's about an hour drive into Spring City... but it's worth it. It's a cd release par-tay and everyone gets a free Mont Clare. (And Spring City virtually IS Mont Clare, so thats like seeing the band Chicago...in Chicago)

Speaking of Boston, Todd's playing a free show in Cambridge Center on the 30th. We're having a good run of free shows lately -- Matt Nathanson, then the Sixers (well, in Springfield), now Todd. Score.

Hahaha that is hilarious.
Todd's witty. He once told me, after e-mailing me at 2 AM and then 7 AM that he didn't sleep because sleep is for humans.
Anyway, yeah it would be nice to see him branch out a little more. I live in Philly, but I can relate to having artists refuse to tour anywhere near you (*cough 97's*)

I have always felt a sense of security about having Todd live near me, like in case I was mugged he would swoop in out of no where and... play a concert or something. He knew this and apologized when he moved to NY because he could "only cover so many square miles!"

I still think my favorite Todd moment ever was when I literally *ran into* him at WCL during a Sixers show...opened the door, smashed against someone, and Hey Todd, howya doing?
Then after we all chatted for a while, Lauren and I got hugs and PJ tried to get a hug but it ended in awkward mid-hug cancellation and a handshake.
Waaaah now I feel like I need to see Todd playyyy.

Apparently Todd was working at some venue in Philly where the Bacon Brothers were appearing, and he had to unload their equipment. He said their equipment wasn't even that good.
