Pittsburgh for me, with permission to record already confirmed with the venue.
awesome!
We will be at the Syracuse show. Very very excited!
I'm glad you will be recording the Pittsburgh show Matt! We would love to get to that one as well but since the Pittsburgh and Syracuse shows are back to back its kind of difficult to get to both
You're lucky your going to so many Elise!
I'll be at somerville, burlington, and NYC....with Elise (and co.)! I can't wait!!
Definitely Pitt and probably NYC. I can't imagine not being there!
I don't leave Somerville anymore. So, there.
NYC for me! Cannot wait!
I'll be at NYC!
i'll be at NYC! my mom bought me the flight for my birthday, and i got my tickets in the mail yesterday! YAY!!!
Laura, that is awesome! I cannot wait for that show! Only 40 more days!
i know! i've been counting down too.
i get to add a new state to the sixers-show list too!
I'd love to go to the NYC one if it wasn't Easter weekend... but I'll be at the Syracuse show!
I'm so pumped I can't even handle it. I haven't seen the sixers play in AGES...the Park West show in Chicago. So probably not that long ago, but still.
This morning I've been listening to The Bear and just...staring at the tickets for the NYC show that are in an envelope on my bookshelf. Took them out...caressed them...giggled...put them back. Only 22 more days!
this will be my first time going to the somerville theatre. can anyone give me an idea of what it's like inside? is it hard to see if you're not in the front?
I think it's one of the best all-around venues for being able to see. Both the orchestra and balcony are sloped, and it's pretty small.
Here's a photo from the stage:

And one from pretty much the worst seat in the house:

I can answer all additional Somerville-related questions.
thanks for the info! it looks great. i'm so excited for the show!
All of 'em
say hi if you see me!
I'm trying to figure out what show to see. I'd love to see them in Syracuse (where I grew up) and drag some friends along, but I don't really want to have to take time off from work to do so.
Not sure I could make it to Somerville and home without taking time off either. Might be able to do VT.
Ditto to wishing NYC wasn't on Easter weekend. I already gave up my Thanksgiving weekend for the birthday shows so I think I need to show my family some love.
has anyone ever had seats in the upper balcony? i was wondering if it's hard to see or if it has a pretty good view of the stage?
Assuming you're talking Somerville Theater -- I'm pretty sure you can see all of the stage without trouble. (I've been in the balcony for movies, but not concerts.) It's more that you're looking down at the stage. For the vertical drop that the balcony has, it's actually not too far back from the stage itself as compared to other venues. There are less than 30 rows on the floor, I think, and the balcony hangs over the floor.
Sorry .. yes the Somerville! I bought tickets kind of late so I have seats on the balcony, so I was just wondering if I'd be able to see the stage! Thanks for the info
