This was one of the more interesting shows I've ever been to. There must have been some kind of motorcycle week in Springfield, because the audience was mostly bikers. The Sixers played on a stage that's a converted trailer that seemed like one could easily hook a truck to and drive away. There were beer tents at the back of the park, but the crowd remained pretty attentive, and even started dancing near the end of the show. It was perhaps the greatest audience participation I've seen at an outdoor venue like this. I mostly chilled on my picnic blanket with my friends and our nalgene of sauvignon blanc, but it was good times.

The setlist was very upbeat given the crowd, but they snuck in Sweetest Goodbye, which was great to hear.

I'm still struggling with posting pictures to these boards, but I'll try a few:

The Goose playing the bass and keys at the same time:

SK and Boots demonstrating the dance portion of Big Easy (note crowd participation):

A summary of the evening's crowd:

hey i was sitting next to you (to the left) i was with my brother (with the pink mohawk)..i have also seen you at other concerts but i cant think of which ones.
i thought the show was reallly good very upbeat and i thought it was really awesome that everyone started dancing.

and they changed the big easy dance from when i saw it at Borders.

my brother and I were not well prepared, no blanket, chairs, nothing and when we first went up and saw all the motorcycles i thought i was in the wrong place..but we werent

i didnt get any good pictures..ill post them but they arnt the best. i will post them later

i will be catching every show i can thats around me this fall.

Hi Katie - Yeah, I'm a sucker for a picnic opportunity.

At my last, probably inaccurate count, that was show 28, so you've probably seen me! I'll be at the Paradise x 2, Tupelo, Iron Horse x 2, and possibly Burlington.

I thought the dance was actually a downgrade from Borders -- the "rocket man" line needs work. Maybe we can start a Sixers choreography thread.

This was a great show. The sixers def picked up some fans from a different crowd here. Every Thursday is biker night in Springfield so it was an older crowd but they seemed to enjoy the music and Stephens antics. I was standing in the back by skyplex, the show had a good turn out. I got there a lil late so if anyone can put together a set list that would be great. I'm gunna have to hit up the NoHo show again for sure.

i heard the paradise might be 16+ sooo that means i can go so i will be there x 2 too. and they are playing at borders in my hometown during school but i might get out of school for it.
ill be at the iron horse too but i dont know if im gonna go to both shows..i probably will though. and the one the day after thanksgiving in NH..

There should be a Sixers Choreography thread..because Big Easy WAS down graded it had a bunch of moves in it at borders and like none there haha.

    Whats your name starry83?

wow 28 concerts...i've been to four..because im stupid and i never listened to my friend who told me to go see them and i never did.

I laughed when I heard about the bikers at the show. My dad rides a Harley (not a big scary biker, well, not a scary biker for that matter), and judging from the pictures, it looks like his sort of crowd!

It was the more upbeat version of Keep Me In Your Thoughts, which I really enjoy. It keeps the sentiment of the lyrics but makes it a lot more engaging.

Both the newer Keep Me In Your Thoughts and Flower in Rain are on the Club Helsinki recording from earlier this year:

That was a fab show; also the debut of Satisfied Man.
