This was one of the more interesting shows I've ever been to. There must have been some kind of motorcycle week in Springfield, because the audience was mostly bikers. The Sixers played on a stage that's a converted trailer that seemed like one could easily hook a truck to and drive away. There were beer tents at the back of the park, but the crowd remained pretty attentive, and even started dancing near the end of the show. It was perhaps the greatest audience participation I've seen at an outdoor venue like this. I mostly chilled on my picnic blanket with my friends and our nalgene of sauvignon blanc, but it was good times.
The setlist was very upbeat given the crowd, but they snuck in Sweetest Goodbye, which was great to hear.
