Y'all know Chad Stokes, from dispatch and/or the First Waltz DVD. Well, his band State Radio is pretty dang awesome.

Tomorrow, they're playing at First Unitarian in Philadelphia at 8 PM. Lauren (godsaverellogg) and I will be tabling the show for a club we're very involved in, STAND.

STAND is student-run anti-genocide coalition and we're working to relieve the victims of the ongoing genocide in Darfur. So far, 400,000 people have been slaughtered, and over two and a half million are homeless refugees in the most violent genocide since Rwanda was terrorized in 1993.

So, if you're in Philly and have nothing to do tomorrow night, make it a point to check out this show. Chad's a great guy for asking STAND members to table this show. We'll have papers, flyers, info, and a great show.

I wish I could come check it out because that sounds like a really amazing thing you're involved in. But I hope the night goes well!

I'm so glad to see some SR promo on this board. Kim that sounds like a great org to be involved in. One of the main reasons I love SR is because they are involved and care. Good luck and have fun at the show.

Anyone going to their benefit for Bikes Not Bombs in August? I'm trying my best to make the trip from VA, but I'm still not sure if it's going to happen or not.
