    So, ive never seen the Sixers without Souce or Riabko....hows it sounding with the three boys?

    Good, it's just different. They have the kinks worked out for parts but expect some bass solos. I like when they have the 4th but there is something to be said for the harmony of the 3 guys. More family like.

    I thought they were great as a trio! Without a lead guitar (per se), it gives Boots an opportunity to take the lead on certain tracks with the mando and banjo, which is a nice way to change it up. However, I have to admit, Soucy was my favorite Sixer--so I still miss him :(

    my first sixers show was just the 3 of them. can't say i like it better but it's not bad at all. gonna miss the electric on start the day early for sure.

    fewer guitar solos... & Start the Day Early is back down to its normal length :) but they do an amazing job, of course!

    the absence of a lead guitarist also means there's a chance you'll get to see kit rock the tuba on "vegas" like he did in chicago.
