If you could request one song for the tour coming up with Hanson and Kate Voegele what would it be?

For me, I would love to hear All Things. I've been weeding through my SK archives and came across the live version of that song. Either that or Guitar and Tambourine. That's another song I haven't heard on the road in a long time.

    Way She Is :)

I say a little prayer before each show that they play it.
(I'll be saying my prayers before the show in Royal Oak)

"Days". That's the only one I really want to hear. "Hurt & Heart" would be nice, too.

Seconding Katie's request for Take Me In To Town. I've heard it once, and I hope that's not the last time.

Chrissy, have you ever gone to a show and not heard Days?

I am not getting my hopes up, since I know they have to play the attention grabbing songs everynight (Days, Thirteen, UG....ugh.), but hopefully we have a few gems thrown in here and there. Definitely Amy and Bound for NY - haven't heard either of them live. You Win is also in there, hearing it live was one of the greatest things ever last year....wouldn't mind it again.

You've got a point... being that they are an opening band on this tour we will probably only hear their popular songs, as they are trying to appeal to a new fan base... but fortunately they tour a lot so there will be other opportunities to hear some rare songs!

that being said, bound for new york looked awesome live on youtube, and the one time I heard guitar and tambourine live was great too. I'd like to see both of them, as well as song for sarah... or really anything off of one night in brooklyn for that matter...

Anything off of south of stephen would make me cry.
You win, girlfriend as pretty as you.
and if anthem is stripped down again i could listen to it Over and Over!

also i do understand how Days and Thirteen are show staples,
but i always think they could sneak an extra 2 songs in by omitting one of those
or four songs if they don't play either.

but whatever they decide to play i really don't mind,
because i just love seeing them live.

I LOVE this version of it. I think I got it off here once upon a time in an album called Mullets, Muskrats, and Mesh-caps that someone uploaded.

    It's fantastic!!!

As for my song requests, I really want to hear Diamond live. I saw it on the setlist for the show in Mpls this Oct. and then it didn't get played. But You Win was played instead which was amazing anyways.

I know it's a Bob cover, but I'd love to hear Easy Chair, its just such a fun song, and the 6ers are good at fun.

    Or Guitar and Tambourine

and Sarah, yesssss on the You Don't Look the Same When You're Leaving.

Basically, the sixers need to do what wilco did and play all of their songs over a couple shows.

    XOXO, Kim

I heard you don't look the same when you're leaving live a looooong time ago - like, my second sixers show. It was pretty cool. I'd rather here Bound for NY, but I am estatic whenever something from the EP makes the show. Hopefully it shows up one day again, Sarah!

I felt like I had to wait forever to hear Diamond live! I would love to hear it again, but SK said he only likes to play it when its a more "intimate" setting...so I guess it depends on the venue.

I want to add Lonely In Columbus to my request list. :) And Kim - any Bob cover is ok in my book. I haven't heard them cover Easy Chair, so I would love to hear that as well.

The other song that I would love to hear, especially since Kate Voegele is opening, would be Another Midas Story. I thought the same thing when Mozella toured with the guys. That's one of my favorite South of Stephen songs.

In addition to the songs I mentioned in my earlier post, I would love to hear some really old stuff from the "Early Hits" cd, like Who Am I or Finding Grey... though I know that is 100% not gonna happen on this tour and most likely won't ever happen... unfortunately

i would love to hear Who am I... I wish they would just play a few concert of all of the older music. I swear that would be the best concert ever

In the songbook there's a "fun fact" for Anthem that says "this song has evolved over the years with only the lyrics remaining intact." So true... it's been rocked up, stripped down, and yet the song is still awesome no matter what version you listen to.

That's why Anthem has steadily remained one of my favorite sixer songs...No matter how it's played it's SOO good.

As for what I'd like to hear on this tour...Amy and 4th Street Moon! or really anything that's been mentioned in this thread would be great. Ya'll have good taste ;)
