The Sixers kicked Friday the 13th's ass! I had an amazing time on Friday night. I went to Baltimore from Philly, specifically to see The Sixers play. (Honestly, I pretty much had no idea who the heck Toad The Wet Sprocket was... Boots was not impressed by this.) Some Toad fans let my friends and I borrow their front row spot, and it was just so much fun. If anyone was there, I'm the girl whose hands Stephen grabbed at the end of the show.

I wrote a pretty detailed review and posted some pictures in my blog. Please check that out if you'd like!

I also have two videos on YouTube: "Father's Day" and Kit's awesome keytar solo.

definitely a fun show...it seemed like there lots of Sixer fans singing along which always makes it more fun and the whole place was dancing to Big Easy by the end! :)

I'm so jealous I wasn't there, and it's only 25 minutes away for me! I already had free front row seats for the O's game though, so I couldn't pass that up. Judging by those videos it was a pretty good show, and Rams Head seems like a good venue. Chrissy, what a great (and in-depth) review! Wow, so they are only a trio now? I know they can pull it off no problem, but it will be weird without all the guitar solos and everything.

this summer is, apparently, their time to "bond as a band again" or something along those lines.... very sweet! it's been just the trio act....I'm pretty sure they'll drag out another guitar player for the fall tour though

Stephen told us that they were going to remain a trio for the fall tour too.
I'm excited for it. He said it allows them to play more stuff since they don't have to worry about the guitarist not knowing some of the songs. :)

I think I read somewhere that work on a new album may begin this year, so I wonder if they will include a lead guitarist for recording? Also, what are they doing instead of the guitar solos at shows now? I'm guessing more harmonica/piano/keytar solos? haha

Pretty much, yea. Haha. It's gonna take some getting used to. I'll miss guitar solos.
