   Who got Boots' new album today?

   I've been listening all day and I really like what I hear! Good work, Boots!

   I've been listening to the new album all day! It's fantastic. I love how each song has such a unique feel to it. From the instrumentation to the vocal tone, the quality is pretty amazing all around. I wonder if Boots would do a podcast with a little "Behind the Music" discussion on what went into the making of this album. I'm curious about the album title and the whole song writing process that went into POE.

   Amen. I'm kind of in awe of some of these tracks, especially North of Pearl and Once We Belonged. Well done, sir, well done!

   Although whenever I see "POE" I think of the other artist, Poe. Not Edgar Allen, the gal who sings "Hey Pretty"

   It's a fantastic work, from start to finish. Love the creepy-version of Boots on "The Killing Kind"! Other favorites: "Trying to Try," "Right Right Now," "Follow Me Through," and "Grow."

   I'm still waiting for my pre-order!

   I realized I have to stop being impatient and buying itunes copies when they come out when i've already ordered a pre-order. It's getting expensive!

   I don't mind though. I've listened to the clips on itunes though and there's lots that I think I'll like so I'm getting excited to hear them.

   so happy to finally have recorded versions of Right Right Now & Grow. I've been playing out those sixthman sessions videos on youtube since january...

   besides those tracks, i'm liking Trying to Try, Let You Go & The Killing Kind.

   "North of Pearl" has a really Ryan Adams-y feel to it. I really like that song & the first three tracks. However over the past few days I am finding "Grow" stuck in my head a LOT. & I like to sing "The Killing Kind" to my co-workers.... they also find it kind of creepy, haha.

    i may love north of pearl. a lot.

    I said it before, but North of Pearl and Once We Belonged are my favorites. They give me chills. After he posted the info email address on facebook, I had to ask about these songs and part of what he said was that those and The Killing Kind are the 3 most trimmed down songs compared to the others, and that he debated whether or not to even record North of Pearl, but in the end it's the one he's most proud of.

    I hear some Tom Petty-ness in When Will You be Mine. Might just be the way he says "mine" - sounds just like Petty!
