Who's going?! Who's excited?! Where are you coming from? What does everyone really wanna hear? New cover?...etc.

I'll be heading down to Ridgefield with 3 friends from Rochester, NY and we are totally taking advantage of that shuttle. I can't wait. I hope they pull out some more SOS stuff. Hearing Southern State of Mind last weekend was awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing Time of My Life again either. Hoping for 2+ hours of Sixers.

Ah! I can't believe it, but I'll be there too. 4 of us are flying in from Wisconsin! Woohoo! I can't wait.

I'd love to hear the really old, and the really new. :) SOS stuff, plus Amy and My Old Man. Wouldn't mind hearing some of the Bulletproof Heart greats that don't get played too often (Heart and Heart, Scorpio....)

I'm coming from VA along with 3 others! :) I'm REALLY excited. I couldn't resist the trip after spending last years NYE with the Sixers!

Is anyone else staying at the promotional hotel that they have on the website?

we're staying at the maron hotel & suites, the one with the free shuttle to and from the playhouse!

anyone who went to NYE last year, what can we expect. how long did they play for?

that's the one we're staying at too..i think.

Last year, they played for a long time. It has the same thing on the website with the cocktail hour, then the opener, then set #1 (i believe that was an hour, which they played seated like they did the whole winter tour last year), then they took a short break...did a midnight toast then played another set and they stood up for that one (i think it was a little over an hour...but I don't remember exactly. they did two encores though).
It was definitely one of the most fun SK6 concerts I've been to, which is why I'm traveling to go again.

Great 2+ hours of Sixers is what I'm looking for. Their sets are always too short for my liking. I'm used to 2.5 hour DMB, moe. UM shows. The hour and 40 minutes just doesn't cut it!

Can I just say that I'm devastated to be missing this year's NYE Extravaganza?! Boo to being 34 weeks pregnant at that point and on flight restriction!
Please take a bunch of pictures and video for the rest of us to enjoy! You'll all have a wonderful time!

OK not really... I'm going to be home in Michigan the week after Christmas to see my family so I figured on the way back I'd just make a quick stop in Connecticut

yea, there were no seat numbers on the ticket or anything so it's GA. Don't worry, last year was and we all still survived it! haha!

hahahaha "adult beverages" ... did y'all see the posting about the bar packages? I'm really impressed at those, as well as the hotel package. the shuttle thing is awesome as well... this may be the most well-organized NYE I've ever had =)

Hmmmm a little more expensive than I had in mind. I'd pay $20 from 7-10, 2 hours for $20... I dunno.

hmmmm....maybe it will be a night time decision....

i have had this image in my head all day for the after show...all of us on the shuttle, drunk for the mist part singing SK6ER tunes....how insane would that be...if that happens...Mal, you need to record it lol

I think I'm passing on the bar package...I'm a lightweight and me trying to drink $30 worth in 2 hours will probably be ugly.

hahaha that will be awesome! I'm pretty excited for the shuttle ride.

i could see myself drinking $30 worth of booze in 2 hrs...being from Boston...thats usually only 3 drinks lol

IMHO, It's actually a pretty good deal, considering how expensive a lot of drinks can be... then again, I guess it depends on how much of a drinker you are =) I could easily consume more than $20 worth of beer in 2 hours. Pints usually range from $2-4, depending on the beer, & a glass of wine can be anywhere from $5-7. The $30 package is pretty sweet, too. Most well drinks are at least $4.50.... & you can always space them out & alternate with water if you're worried about overdoing it!
