I'll be there as well! I'm looking forward to it and I'm taking a friend who hasn't seen the guys before. Should be a good time! I'm also hoping that my plane doesn't get delayed (that would be just my luck!)

Yaay for Relloggers (this board will forever be Rellogg in my heart!) celebrating on New Years Eve together! I'm also bringing my friend Emily with me--I booked our flights and hotel this morning. Ok, so I guess you and I are going to be showmates from now on, Tiff!

Sounds good to me! So when are you planning on getting there? We are just going for the show and flying home the next day which kinda sucks but we don't really have a choice. We'll have to meet up at some point and have a drink or something if you're interested.

Our flight leaves Indy at 10:08am on the 31st, and gets to DC around 11:40am, then we're leaving at 4:45pm on the 1st and heading back to Indy. I'm just praying for good weather, so that we'll be able to get there and back home as planned! Here's to hoping for good luck on United Express flights!

That's about the same as us. I'll actually be in Nebraska visiting family so I'm flying out of Omaha instead of O'Hare. I think we are scheduled to get into D.C. at 1:30 on the 31st and we leave at 7:55 pm on the 1st. The flight back I'm not as concerned with...I just really don't want to have to deal with bad weather on the way there!

I totally agree. I purposely booked an earlier flight so that if it was delayed I would have another couple of flights to catch to get to DC by showtime! We're such dedicated fans!

We actually haven't gotten around to booking a hotel yet. Should probably do that, huh? Anybody have any recommendations? I am not familiar with the area at all so I'm looking for any advice I can get!

We're staying at the Courtyard on Chain Bridge Road. It's really close to the venue and wasn't too expensive!
We could have a little pre-show (or post-show) get together with all the relloggers! I'm not used to people coming down here for shows!

We're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn--and I think it is on Chain Bridge Road. It's about 3 miles from the venue, I believe.

Thanks for the hotel tips. Now I just have to get something booked....I'll do it later I think. I'm great at procrastination! Anyway, I would definitely be up for a pre (or post) show get together. I think it would be fun!

Haha! Emily and I are both over-packers, so there may be hope for that theory with our huge suitcases!! Actually, we're doing the trip (flight and hotel) for like $299, which we thought was a pretty good deal for round-trip direct tickets and a decent hotel. Seize the day and book a flight!
I'm sure Purdue (Go Boilermakers!) could deal without your tuition for a semester--just kidding!!

So the closer this show gets, the more excited I get! Is anyone else as pumped as I am? I finally got all arrangements made (tickets/flights/hotel. all that fun stuff!) and now I just wanna go! I'm ready for another show...

Ok, I have a question for all of you guys who are local to the area. How available are cabs going to be to get to/from the venue? I'm not as concerned about getting to the venue, but rather trying to catch a cab in the middle of the night. I guess it's the probably the busiest night ever for cab drivers, so I'm sure they're prepared to deal with those pesky middle of the night runs.

I'm definitely all for a pre-gaming get together! I'm not sure about cabs. I've always driven to Jammin Java, but I don't think it will be a problem. I bet they will be prepared since there is a new years party going on there and everything.

Ok, so this is like 4 days away and I am sooo excited. I saw where the weather in VA is supposed to be okay (considering the time of year) on Monday and Tuesday, so I hope everyone's local weather cooperates also and everyone can drive/fly easily. The weather in Indy should be fine for us to make it out there and back without incident. I wish everyone who is making the trek like me safe travels!

sorry to unload my sorrows on you guys.... but my friend who was coming to the show with me just bailed- yes, three days before hand.
I'm sooooo disappointed! I bought a really cute dress, and GPS for the drive (we were coming from Ontario) and I was so excited for the show!this sucks. a lot.
