such a good show at URI.
the crowd was umm...how do i put it?...interesting?....they even left Matt speechless a few times. which as you all know, is hard to do haha.

it was great to hear lots of the new stuff off of Some Mad Hope since the last time i saw him was the first time i heard Car Crash.

i brought a friend along who had only heard Matt's version of "laid" before and now she's in love and can't wait to get all of his albums.

just found this thread, and i have seen Matt three times now in the last few months, and he is amazing live and such a down to earth kind of guy. His music is fantastic and his song writing is insane. Can't wait to see him again!

have you guys heard sugarland's cover of "come on get higher"? it's on the deluxe version of their new album and it's pretty good! very cool to hear a matt song from a country perspective, not to mention one that is as popular as sugarland. here you go:

i'll be at the second chicago show and the detroit show the day after. damn job will prevent me from doing the first chicago show, but going to detroit will more than make up for it.

he was awesome in PDX & Eugene, Or this week.... sold out the Aladdin Theatre in Portland (which I think Hanson did NOT do when they played there in September)... way to go Matt!!!

Alright, so i'm late... i'm REALLY late. BUT I finally got around to buying Some Mad Hope. Its weird because i've had Beneath These Fireworks for years now, and I listen to it.. a lot... still...

Anyway, the album is GREAT.

I also don't know if you guys are familiar with Current.tv, but it may be (in my humble opinion) just about the greatest tv channel out there. Its pretty much the only thing I watch. All content is created by the viewers and they air the most interesting stuff. Aside from what the public submits they have weekly shows which showcase excellent journalism regarding global issues, a satire news show, and a recap of music news...

The Daily Fix on Current recently featured Matt Nathanson, which I thought was really cool and it definitely made me really excited.

Ah, Matt. Such a sweetie. An awesome friend and amazing musician! Tho unfortunately I'm getting divorced and will need to find another ride to shows I think he and his wife should move back to the Boston area so I can hang out more!
