    no thread for jon already? ok then, i'll do it :mrgreen:

    jon mclaughlin is a pianist hailing of anderson, indiana. his major label debut album called "indiana" is out on island/def jam records now in stores everywhere. some of you may remember him opening for the sixers at shows earlier this year. he will also be joining them on board the rock boat in january... not to mention touring with kelly clarkson later this fall. if you weren't blown away by his live show... what's wrong with you? and if you haven't heard him at all yet, you can check him out at the following sites:

    so if you already love jon, rave away... if not, take a listen to his stuff and i promise you will love it. i can't really say enough about jon both as a musician and a person, but i want you all to let me know what you think.

    love love love Jon!
    he blew up so quickly. earlier this year i saw him open up for the sixers, now he's playing with paolo nutini and kelly clarkson in huge venues.
    i'm so glad i'll be able to see him on the rock boat!
    plus....how cute is he?!

    yeah, it's weird... i've been listening to him for almost 3 years now and it's crazy to see how far he's come. i guess that's a good thing though. people really love him, and he does his job well. the best part is, he really hasn't changed as a person.

    i cant BELIEVE he's gotten so big so quickly. like most of you, i saw him open for the sixers during the last tour, and now he's opening for kelly! it's absolutely crazy. i guess that shows just how good he is. plus, he probably has the sweetest wife in the world! not to mention they make the most adorable couple ever.

    i know! amy is an absolute doll. she couldn't be any nicer. i love chatting with her just as much as chatting with jon.

    hahaha, nice. hope she's not too overwhelmed by all the attention her husband will get on the kelly clarkson tour, but i'm sure she'll be able to handle it. she's been doing well with it so far.

    i asked her if it was weird that, inevitably, so many girls are fans of her husband. she said that it wasn't all that weird, which i thought was cool. hopefully, like you said, they can both handle all the attention he'll be getting.
    his fan base is going to grow so much from ths tour...it's gonna be crazy.
