Are they doing just the identified album each night, or one entire album AND a handful of other songs each night?

    probably just the album.

this looks weirdly familiar to hanson's "five of five" event in nyc this month. not that i'm going to that.

i kinda want to go to this though? spells out a fun summer trip! 8)

when they did the glassjaw boxer preview tour they played the album straight through with an encore of other songs. i assume that's how this will be too.

i wonder if The Bear will include the bonus tracks...

I think I am going to have to do a road trip to VA for the Jammin Java shows! I haven't seen the Sixers in SO long!

also, i'm kind of curious if they're ONLY playing the albums too...each album is less than an hour long. that'd be a pretty short sixers show.

I thought there was talk about these being more like "storytellers-type"shows. That way, they might take more time to talk about each song as they work their way through the album. And yes, I hope they include the bonus tracks. I'm still waiting to catch Howl at the Moon live, so this would be perfect.

I think they should record these and put on dvd.

Does anyone know what Maxwell's is like?
I normally wouldn't travel when 2 out of a 4 show tour are in my area, but since Bulletproof Heart is in Jersey, I can't imagine missing it.

Ugh, decisions... we'll have to travel for any of the 4... but I'd kill to see the BPH one, and the Bear if bonus tracks are involved...

@Brittybabee it says on wikipedia that the capacity for Maxwell's is 200. It was a very intimate show when I saw Pat Mcgee play there in 2009. I really liked the venue.

I just realized the Vienna shows go on sale tomorrow and the capacity is 200... Eeee. I guess I better decide if I'm really going to make it happen or not!

I guess I could always sell them anyway if I end up not going (face value here, don't worry) since it's so far in advance. BUT, I know me. I know that if I buy the tickets for the show firstly above all, I'll find a way to make the rest happen, lol.

I like the deal, too. Saves me $10 if I go to all 4!

i'm feeling the same way. getting the tickets immediately, working out the details later.

tickets go on sale at noon, but i probably wont be able to buy them until about 1 o'clock eastern time...theres no way it will sell out in an hour, is there??

You all have to help me find someone buy my tickets when I realize this is a huge mistake and end up not going, okay?

Oh we'll see. I seem to have an excess of crap to pay for in may and july, including rock boat payments. If it weren't for that and a new iphone, i'd probably believe in myself too.

i wish my mom wasn't a damn travel agent... then i could just go ahead and book my own flights without anyone knowing, but she gets actually mad when i don't let her do it. :|

I'm also going to be real sad when they do shows in NYC all fall probably numerous times.

All I really want is to see Sk6ers, Kyle Riabko in Hair, and spend a week or so in NYC this year. Anytime this year.. I'm just too impatient to wait for fall tour dates.

Hmmm, don't think I'm going to go. It'll be really hard to save the money for it by july...and since I want to go to NYC so bad, I kind of want money for when I'm there, haha.

This means that I'm definitely saving up and hitting up a show or two in the fall... in NYC and probably some in the area!

Got my tickets for the 2 shows in VA! I'm so excited about this. I'm not even that upset at not being able to afford the John Mayer show in Bristow a day after these shows because I have Sk6ers to look forward to and that is so much more worth it these days.
