   So, the bar I work at has this thing every Monday called "Acoustic Folk Jam" where local musicians can come & play together. It's kind of like open mic, except there are no actual mics, and everyone plays together. (That's the concept, anyway. Mostly it's the same group of 10 people every week who intimidate the shit out of anyone new who wants to play).

   Anyway, they play the same songs every week, and they ALWAYS include a whole bunch of the same covers the Sixers do... Wagon Wheel, You Ain't Goin Nowhere, Blackbird, Cripple Creek.... & I ALWAYS think to myself "damn, the Sixers sound SO much better." hahaha. & then I miss them!!!

   damn.. i kinda wish the restaurant/bar i worked at did something like that! we just have acoustic nights, jazz nights, and dj nights.

   although my friend is hopefully going to play on acoustic night soon... and she'll do a 4th of july cover of course!

   that little red caboose just starts to work that old smoke stack...
