my fellow rock gods and goddesses, i just received the greatest pedal of all time as a birthday gift. i highly recommend the boss tu-2 chromatic tuner:

I really enjoy playing Big Easy. But, it's hard to dance and play at the same time.
this is why Kyle can't leave.
he has perfected this.
sweet pedal, can't go wrong with BOSS
I got the Anthology the other week and started playing "The Way She Is" and I'm having trouble getting the em7 chord to ring clearly. Mainly the problem lies in my pinky finger on the D string 4th fret. My question is there are about a dozen different variations of the em7 chord will any of them do, is there another chord that substitutes that chord, or am I just going to have to live with the buzz.
There are a few versions of the Em7 chord, but I think the easiest and best sounding for this song is as follows:
*Relative to the capo on the 1st fret
High E string: open
B: ring finger on third fret
G: open
D: middle finger on second fret
A: first finger on second fret
Low E: open
I think that this version works fine. It also makes it easy to hit the high E second fret with the middle finger to add in little hammer-ons and flavor up the sound during the Em7. Lastly, if you are having trouble with the chord transition, the Dsus can be played with the D string open, instead of the third finger on the 4th fret, as shown in the anthology. Hope all this helps!
I finally got the original Em7 chord from the book to work for me after two straight hours and a lot of pinky pain. Sounds great just strumming the chords now I have to figure out all the stuff he is doing inside the chords like hammer-ons and what not. I'm afraid of the what not though anything he is doing outside of the chord.
