Time to get excited!! I've been pumped since the Matty Nay concert at the TLA, where there were SK posters EVERYWHERE. So, who's going??

I want to shake the hand of every taper present in the TLA, by the way. I loveeee when people tape shows.

Last time Kyle or SK6ers was at the TLA - 10/07/05.

    Serious? Wasn't anyone there?

It was heavenly. Somewhere in the middle of the show I transcended to some higher place of rock and roll. Kyle definitely added a good measure of funk to the rock. At one point, SK, Kyle, and Kit just dropped their britches and played Thirteen. hahaha!

People complain about other concert-goers, but oh man did I hate the people working at the TLA. I've always had a problem with them. I was almost physically removed from the TLA by one guy who had some sort of personal vendetta against me talking to SK. (I was in the "wrong line") This guy had it in for me, and me alone.

I asked Kyle about his Neti Pot, and his eyes just lit up and he said "It's not delicious, but it FEELS SO delicious!!" Line of the night.

My husband, brother and I were lucky enough to VIPs for the night so we were treated to a pre show all acoustic mini set by the band. They were also willing to do a Q and A and to sign things. Cousin Jessica was super cool as well, making sure that we got our T-shirts and CDs despite the fact that we were running so late. We first say Stephen open for Matt and seeing both of them this month really made my Rocktober. As for the staff at the TLA - in my experience, they are awesome. I'm very very pregnant with twins and while I was waiting in line for the Matt Nathanson show, one of the bouncers offered to save me a bar stool - pretty cool of him. We called him Big Mike and he remembered us when we showed up at this show. Needless to say I had very comfy seat this time around too : )

I can honestly say that SK and the 6ers is the most entertaining band that I've ever had the pleasure to watch. They are so tight and so together. I like Kyle Riabko as part of the band - he has great energy and can totally rock.

I remember seeing you! I was working for Tyrone & overheard you and your husband greeting Stephen after the show. The expression on his face when he saw your belly was really cute.

I remember you too - mostly because I was nervouse for the merch table after Stephen announced his Radio Head Moment. Stephen is such a good guy - and now that he's a daddy too - well, he's even nicer.

Oh man, the Radiohead Moment...he almost gave Cousin Jess a coronary. We were just throwing the random amounts of money into a cardboard box because there was no way we could keep track of what everybody was paying.

Glad you guys had a good time!

Seriously how funny was the Radiohead moment? I remember asking Sadie if SK seriously just said people could pay whatever they wanted for the GJB cd. Then I panicked and texted Jess "Is this for real?!?"

That night was a lot of fun though. The show rocked and I was pumped to see people getting up and dancing.

Sadie--It was reall cool meeting you, will I see you at the Tin Angel show in December?

    Hey Sara!

Not sure about December yet, but it's looking like a "no" for me (sad). I'm pretty sure I'll be away on tour with another client at that time.

Have a great time for me though! =)
