You see, we had to go through the last 6 1/2 years, comb our entire tour schedule and count how many shows we played as a band. There were a few shows where Kit wasn’t present due to dance class, a couple here and there where Stephen decided to take the night off, which was usually due in part to courting Sam Steamer Getz to join the band. Interestingly enough, Boots has never missed a show in his 6 1/2 year tenure as a Sixer. People close to the band have started to refer to him as the Cal Ripken of SK6ERS...</p> <p>Anyway, there have been many memorable (and not so memorable... echemm) shows leading up to this momentous night, but of course one amazing concert to one could’ve have been a dud to another. That’s why we want to hear from you. Tell us about your favorite shows and memories. Tell us what you’d like to hear in the shows leading up to and on April 3rd. We want this to be just as important to you the fans, as it is to us the band.</p> <p>With that being said, every day we’ll be posting questions, random thoughts and other ideas that are all Sixer-esque on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/sk6ers). Respond and let’s talk. Let’s get a dialogue going and if we read perhaps a short story about the time you made out to the song Vegas or the time you witnessed The Goose get tackled by a security guard in Rochester NY… Whatever.
