I have my Facebook default as a red ribbon, and I'm also wearing my "I took the walk" shirt. I feel good about having walked ten miles with Hanson this year to raise AIDS awareness.

Hey guys - today (Dec 1st) is the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day, so please observe it in whatever small way you can - get tested, encourage others to get tested, just spend some time thinking about those affected & what we can do to help.
in 2007, 2.2 million people worldwide were killed by HIV/AIDS & another 2.5 million people were newly infected. Every day we must take steps towards reducing that number, providing treatment & working for prevention of the spread of the disease.
Some good sites for info: The ONE Campaign, Global Coalition on Women & AIDS, Take the Walk
