The drive down was descent, the music was awesome (as always), and I was dead center, 5 feet back from the stage. Plus, Jon McL and Matt Wertz opened, which is always good too. The 9:30 club is a big place though, and I think it was sold out. When the band was called out for a second encore, SK got pretty emotional. I believe there are a bunch of pictures out there on the internet that someone took, in which you can clearly see the tears running down his face. But he was pretty choked up, and the crowd went nuts for like 10 minutes, with them just standing there, looking around, taking it all in. Unfortunately, the club had another show coming in after them so they couldn't keep playing, but they did squeeze in Fat Bottemed Girls real quick before they had to clear the stage. I've seen in some of their blogs that this was possibly their favorite show, and I'm glad I got to witness it...</p> <p>Maybe someone can find those pictures?
